At Down to Earth Dressage, I understand that life with horses is unpredictable. My goal is to be flexible and fair while also respecting the time I've set aside for you.
Client Cancellations
More than 48 hours notice — Full credit or reschedule at no charge
24–48 hours notice — 50% of the lesson fee is forfeited, or the lesson may be rescheduled once at no additional charge
Less than 24 hours notice — Full lesson fee is forfeited
No-shows — Full lesson fee is forfeited and no reschedule credit is issued
For clients on lesson packages, the same policy applies — a late cancellation or no-show counts as a used lesson.
Weather & Emergency Exceptions
Horses and weather go hand in hand. Cancellations due to severe weather, horse injury, or genuine emergencies will always be handled with grace — just reach out as soon as you know. These will never result in a forfeited lesson.
My Cancellations
If I need to cancel due to illness, injury, or an emergency on my end, you will never be charged and we will reschedule at your earliest convenience. If I cancel due to weather, the same applies — your lesson credit is fully preserved.
